Alison Avery joined COPE Health Solutions in August 2016 as an Executive Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President, Evan King, and Executive Vice President, Dawn Johnson. Ms. Avery is responsible for anticipating and executing on the complex, dynamic needs of executive team members, including calendar scheduling, travel logistics, meeting planning as well as coordination and communication with a wide variety of team members and clients.

Prior to joining COPE Health Solutions, Ms. Avery worked as a program and project manager at Flagship Food Group where she oversaw a number of projects in support of this fast growing startup company in the food space. Reporting to the CEO and CFO, she was responsible for planning the annual leadership conference and other key events and executing on marketing and communication activities including interior and exterior signage, a quarterly employee newsletter, and monthly e-blasts. During her five years, she managed several office relocations and oversaw projects to build out a high-end display kitchen and a visitor center, and facilitated employee benefits by collaborating with benefits brokers, third party administrators, insurance carriers and division HR managers. Before joining Flagship Food Group, Ms. Avery spent nine years at Hewlett Packard, where she led planning processes in support of sales teams, managed cross functional teams addressing sales inhibitors, oversaw data modeling for a global sales program identifying key accounts for investments and drove the financial and operational metrics for the global rollout. Ms. Avery started her career at Hewlett Packard in the finance team, where she worked on the HP-Compaq merger, defining and planning for synergies, and created an ownership P&L that was used as the basis for the design of a new corporate reporting system.

Ms. Avery holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a focus on finance. She is also a graduate of Occidental College, where she earned her Bachelor degree in Kinesiology. In her spare time, Alison enjoys reading and hiking and is an avid sports fan especially for her favorite Los Angeles teams.
