Senior Consultant
Andrew Masucci, MHA is a Senior Consultant with COPE Health Solutions with a background in healthcare consulting, strategy, and policy.
Prior to joining COPE Health Solutions, he was a Consultant within the Office of Strategy Management at Yale New Haven Health, where he supported performance improvement and strategic initiatives across the health system. In this role, he managed a breadth of projects across several lines of business to improve patient access, quality, efficiency, and financial sustainability. He also acted as a strategic advisor to the Senior Vice President of Neurosciences, Orthopedics, and Surgical Services, supporting the service line’s annual strategic planning process and providing landscape data assessments to inform strategic decision-making for program development.
Additionally, Mr. Masucci previously worked as a Data and Policy Analyst at Acumen. Here, he provided analytical, research, and project management support for Acumen projects supporting the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) on the administration and refinement of several Medicare Prospective Payment Systems including the IPPS, OPPS, and IPF PPS. In this same role, he also assisted the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) with project coordination and provider verification for the distribution of relief payments through the COVID-19 Provider Relief Fund, providing financial support to providers throughout the pandemic.
Mr. Masucci earned both his Bachelor of Arts in Public Health Studies and Master of Health Administration from Johns Hopkins University. While attending the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, he was a 2022-2023 Graduate Fellow of the Hopkins Business of Health Initiative, an interdisciplinary, collaborative initiative aimed to integrate research, practice, and policy across the University to improve the productivity of the nation’s health system.
