Cameron Mckain

Cameron Mckain joined COPE Health Solutions in September 2022 and is currently a Workforce IT Assistant. In this role, Mr. Mckain works closely with the rest of the Health Scholar IT Team to maintain our current technical platforms and support our entire Service Line. Supporting his efforts is his extensive, self-taught expertise in Python and JavaScript, honed through personal initiative and a passion for coding.

Mr. Mckain graduated from the University of California, Irvine, in June 2020 with a Bachelor of Science after majoring in Biology with a particular interest in molecular biology and neurology. During his tenure as an undergraduate, he worked as a Learning Assistant for both physiology and physics courses, focusing on pedagogy and active learning.

Continuing his interest in health care, Mr. Mckain joined the Health Scholar Program at Kaiser Permanente Riverside in June 2020, where he gained valuable experience across a wide variety of clinical departments. He also joined the Leadership Team at Kaiser Permanente Riverside as a Department Coordinator in April 2021, ending as the Director of Departmental Operations in January 2024.
