Cynthia Portillo

Program Manager

Cynthia Portillo joined the COPE Health Solutions team in September 2021 as a Program Manager where she manages the newly launched COPE Health Scholar and Medical Assistant program at Adventist Health Hospital Central Valley Network in four locations, which include Hanford, Selma, Reedley, and Tulare, California. In this role, Mrs. Portillo oversees the day-to-day operation, initiation, and expansion of both COPE Health Scholar and Medical Assistant programs. Mrs. Portillo serves as a guide to the COPE Health Scholars and Medical Assistant programs Leadership team and participants by focusing on program management, recruitment, training, and the professional development and mentorship of program participants.

Prior to her current role, Mrs. Portillo was a Branch Manager for the People Ready for over 11 years, leading the on-demand staffing and operational support within the construction industry. During her time with People Ready, Mrs. Portillo received the Circle of Excellence award 3 yea Mrs. Portillo brings her expertise in recruiting, operations, compliance, and sales to direct the growth of the COPE Health Scholar and Medical Assistant programs. Mrs. Portillo was previously certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant, as well as a licensed Pharmacy Technician. She brings a diverse background to COPE Health Solutions to promote the advancement of the Health Scholar and Medical Assistant programs.

Mrs. Portillo graduated from California State University, Fresno where she earned her Bachelors in Public Health Administration degree. She is also currently working on her Master’s in Public Health.
