Gagan Kaur

Senior Consultant

Gagan Kaur is a Senior Consultant at COPE Health Solutions with over 10 years of experience in the health care industry.

Prior to joining COPE Health Solutions, Ms. Kaur was a Regional Health Systems Consultant and Strategic Partnerships Manager with The American Cancer Society, the largest cancer oriented nonprofit in the United States. Here she focused her efforts on supporting underserved and underinsured populations gain access to treatment opportunities, and addressing workforce and provider solutions, as well as operations quality improvement for diverse sets of health care entities. This involved collaboration with large and small health care systems, leading several coalitions, writing and implementing health policy, as well as managing a variety of stakeholders. Additionally, Ms. Kaur has experience as a Clinical Researcher with 8 years studying degenerative cardiac disease at the Comprehensive Arrhythmia Research and Management (CARMA) Center at the University of Utah. Here her focus was to address minority focused populations, implementing projects addressing stroke in women, disparities in research and treatment variations between men vs women as well as ethnically diverse populations. One of the many other success being a global multi-center study changing arrhythmia treatment. During her time at the CARMA Center she published over 46 abstracts and manuscripts, acquired several grants (federal & private), and implemented the Undergraduate Research Scholar Program.

Supplementing her career experience, Ms. Kaur has also served as: Financial Advisor/Consultant to Latino Behavioral Health Services, Chair for the YWCA of Utah, Volunteer at Best Friends Animal Shelter, Pre-professional Board Member at the Road Home of Utah, and Co-Chair to the Utah Cancer Action Network.

Ms. Kaur has a Bachelors of Science in Public Health from the University of Utah, as well as a certificate of Health care Administration from Utah Valley University.
