Joshua Blagaila is a Consultant at COPE Health Solutions, focused on performance improvement and information technology project management, and specializing in Agile project management methodology.  Mr. Blagaila currently supports performance contracting and network development at the Montefiore Hudson Valley Collaborative, a NY State DSRIP PPS and Montefiore Health System innovation hub. Selected examples of work streams he supports are funds flow model development, outcome-based modeling, partner infrastructure reporting and partner database design.

Mr. Blagaila joined COPE Health Solutions in July 2013 as a Manager responsible for the COPE Health Scholars program operations first at Riverside Community Hospital and then at White Memorial Medical Center. While at Riverside Community Hospital, he implemented unique solutions for both internal program and client challenges, with a focus in student leadership development and patient satisfaction improvement. He implemented the White Memorial program in the summer of 2014, moving it in a year’s time to over a hundred participants, serving four different inpatient departments.

Mr. Blagaila served as a Regional Manager from September 2015, supervising a growing client portfolio in the greater Los Angeles area and continued his work in workforce solutions implementation, performance improvement and complex project management. He has been heavily involved in developing initiatives for student leadership within the COPE Health Scholars program, striving to solidify the program as the nation’s foremost health care leadership program. Mr. Blagaila also served as the project manager for the development and implementation Salesforce.com CRM system and SQL/DNN database, enabling the company to better supervise and leverage its rapidly growing client portfolio, student participants and alumni base. He was also the architect for a multi-project internal process improvement effort called Launchpad, which aimed to move the programs’ operations to support the transition from incremental to exponential growth.

Mr. Blagaila graduated Magna Cum Laude from Fresno Pacific University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in History and Classics. He is also an active member of the National Honors Society Alpha Chi and a lifetime member of the Phi Alpha Theta National History Honors Society. He is skilled in:
