Juliana Mata-Pacheco joined COPE Health Solutions in May 2017. Ms. Mata-Pacheco is currently a Program Manager where she provides support for the daily operations and administrative tasks of the COPE Health Scholars programs. In this role, she leads training and implementation for our international and intensive programs.

Ms. Mata-Pacheco was first introduced to COPE Health Solutions through her three-year experience as a Health Scholar at Adventist Health Glendale. She provided additional support to the program through her involvement with Leadership Team as a Department Coordinator. Ms. Mata-Pacheco later transitioned onto the Executive Team as an Assistant Director of Departments for the Telemetry Units and as the Director of Departmental Operations, overseeing 300 active student participants in 27 departments.

Prior to joining COPE Health Solutions, Ms. Mata-Pacheco was the Special Projects Intern at Kheir Clinic in Los Angeles, where she developed and implemented the Student Health Advocate and Peer Educator Program (SHAPE) at Robert F. Kennedy Community Schools.

Ms. Mata-Pacheco received her Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Biology, with an emphasis on Human Biology and Health Sciences, from the University of California, Berkeley. During her time there, she served as the Chief Operational Officer for Global Health Brigades and was a member of the Biology Scholars Program.
