Medha Tandon joined COPE Health Solutions in October 2018 and is currently a Senior Consultant. She is primarily supporting clients in New York City with partner contracting and moving community organizations to value-based payment systems with a focus on population health.

Prior to joining COPE Health Solutions, Ms. Tandon was a Project Associate at New York University (NYU) School of Medicine in the Office of Medical Education. While at NYU, she supported the curriculum by conducting internal studies on education quality to enable NYU School of Medicine to maintain accreditation. Furthermore, she consulted with Winthrop Hospital to create and foster curriculum for a new three-year Medical School Program.

Ms. Tandon graduated from Rutgers University – New Brunswick with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health. She received her Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.  During her master’s coursework, she completed an internship and Mount Sinai’s General Internal Medicine conducting research in self-management behavior of cancer patients with chronic diseases. Ms. Tandon is also a member of the Stomach Cancer Pooling (StoP) Project, which is a consortium of epidemiological studies of gastric cancer. She received the Blue Ribbon award for her Master’s Thesis, ‘Dietary Fiber intake and Gastric Cancer’, which she conducted with consortium.
