Rachel Tang joined COPE Health Solutions as an Analyst in July 2016. She is currently supporting clients in upstate New York that are implementing Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) projects as part of the 1115 Medicaid Waiver.

Prior to joining the COPE team, Ms. Tang worked as a Research Assistant in the Department of Dermatology at the Perelman School of Medicine where she helped identify possible mutations that could drive the onset of Cutaneous Squamous Cell Carcinoma. She was also a volunteer at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, an active member of Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity, and a youth mentor for inner-city elementary school children.

Ms. Tang holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and minors in Biophysics, Biological Basis of Behavior, and Health Services Management from the University of Pennsylvania. She hopes to continue her education and obtain a Master of Business Administration in the near future.

Ms. Tang was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Outside of work, she enjoys trying new restaurants, going to concerts, and traveling.
