Sara Bergeron joined the COPE Health Solutions team in September 2021 as a Program Manager where she manages the COPE Health Scholar program at Tacoma General and Allenmore Hospitals in Tacoma, Washington. In this role, Mrs. Bergeron oversees the day-to-day operation, direct initiation, and expansion of the COPE Health Scholar program. Mrs. Bergeron serves as a guide to the COPE Health Scholars program Leadership team and participants by focusing on program management, recruitment, training, and the professional development of program participants.

Prior to her current role, Mrs. Bergeron was a Program Manager for the Geneva Foundation, leading the technical and operational support to conduct the AstraZeneca and Novavax Phase III vaccine studies at 6 different military installations. She has been a Public Health Microbiologist for the Department of Health in Hawaii and served as a Quality Assurance Specialist at Amgen Pharmaceuticals. Mrs. Bergeron has served as a Petty Officer in the United States Navy from 2009-2012. She brings a diverse background to COPE Health Solutions to promote the advancement of the Health Scholar program.

Mrs. Bergeron is a certified Project Management Professional and a graduated from California Lutheran University with a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences.
