Sara Lozoya

Program Manager

Sara Lozoya joined COPE Health Solutions in July of 2024 and is currently the Program Manager at Kaiser Permanente Anaheim. Sara ensures the COPE Health Scholars program run smoothly, excelling in recruitment of Health Scholar candidates, providing supervision, training, and mentorship to current Health Scholars, managing on-site program operations, and fostering relationships with key hospital executives and the community. Sara plays a key role in connecting program participants, the internal team, and the client.

Before joining COPE Health Solutions, Ms. Lozoya gained extensive experience within health care. Over the last year and a half, Ms. Lozoya led crisis intervention efforts with BeWell and the Irvine Police Department for clients facing mental health, addiction, and homelessness challenges. Additionally, she served as an Emergency Medical Technician with Anaheim Fire & Rescue, Falck, and Orange County Global Medical Center. Throughout her career, Sara has demonstrated composure and decisiveness in navigating crises and medical emergencies, yielding positive patient outcomes and fostering enhanced team cohesion.

Ms. Lozoya holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Sports Management from Hope International University. Additionally, Sara received a Health & Wellness Coaching certification from UCI. Beyond her professional credentials, Sara is actively involved in volunteer work. She has served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for the last five years, where she works with youth in the foster care system. Her dedication to community service underscores her commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable populations.
