Karina Vazquez

Program Manager

Karina Vazquez joined COPE Health Solutions in October 2024 and is currently a Program Manager. In this role, Ms. Vazquez oversees the COPE Health Scholars program at Emanate Health in Covina, where she leads recruitment and enrollment strategies, manages day-to-day operations of the account, and is committed to helping the next coming generations find fulfilling roles where they can contribute to the community and thrive in healthcare while supporting sustainable recruitment pipelines and drive long-term engagement in the field.

Prior to becoming a Program Manager, Ms. Vazquez used to work with individuals and oral healthcare within the Inland Empire and Los Angeles County. She focused on supporting students and individuals alike who are eager to make a difference through compassion, passion and leadership by finding and creating opportunities through coaching and networking to help them open more roads for themselves and their future, as well as connect them to pathways into real-world opportunities.

Ms. Vazquez graduated from the University of California, Merced with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a year of focused study in Public Health through a hands-on internship. Her area of study focused on the clinical aspects of psychology and the neurological perspective of disease and treatment, while also looking into how to create awareness and provide more resources to socio-economically impacted communities. Before her bachelor’s degree, she received her Associate Degree in Psychology, as well as Social and Behavioral Studies at Riverside Community College. Her time at the college led to a building of mentorships where she participated in a student panel for the Honors Program to provide advice and guidance for future graduates.
