Christian Herrera

Christian Herrera, MHA, is a VBC analyst with COPE Health Solutions. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Herrera obtained his Master of Health Administration degree from the University of Southern California.

During his tenure at USC, Mr. Herrera completed a 1,000-hour administrative residency with Optum, under the Marketing and Brand Integration team. Throughout his residency, Mr. Herrera was responsible for facilitating mergers and acquisition discussions between Optum and various IPAs throughout the state of California. He was also responsible for ensuring that various Optum clinics throughout Orange and Los Angeles County were in compliance with Optum marketing and brand standards.

Parallel to his work in extracurriculars at USC, Mr. Herrera served as a Co-President for the Healthcare Case Competition Club (HC3), where he was responsible for the organization and recruitment of various MHA students who showed interest in competing in case competitions throughout the United States.

Previously, Mr. Herrera obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Spanish at the University of California, Los Angeles.
