Ashley Castellanos

Community Health Worker

Ashley Castellanos joined COPE Health Solutions in August 2024 and is currently a Community Health Worker. In this role, Ms. Castellanos acts as a health advocate to help patients access community services and resources. She conducts community outreach and health education aimed at improving the health outcomes of patients and their families.

Prior to joining COPE Health Solutions, Ms. Castellanos was an interim housing case manager for a local non-profit organization contracted under the Department of Health Services. She provided comprehensive strength-based case management services to the homeless population, including successfully transitioning then into permanent housing. She crafted detailed care plans aimed at meeting the physical, mental, social, and housing needs of each client.

Ms. Castellanos completed her bachelor’s degree in public health at California State University, Los Angeles in May 2022. Ms. Castellanos is passionate about serving vulnerable populations and between 2014 and 2022 has participated in homeless outreach and volunteering in local hospitals. Ms. Castellanos is also presently pursuing her master’s in public health, at Chamberlain University.
