Community Health Worker
Carolina Gonzalez joined COPE Health Solutions in March 2026 as a Community Health Worker. Within this role Ms. Gonzalez acts as a liaison in supporting underserved individuals within a diverse atmosphere pertaining to Enhanced Care Management knowledge. She helps bridge the gap in understanding advocacy among the community health field and promotes well-being amongst the various collaborations with patients, families, case managers, and so much more.
Prior to joining COPE Health Solutions, Ms. Gonzalez dedicated five years to collaborating with Special Education Professionals, Board-Certified Behavior Analysts, Case Specialists and family dynamics within an in-home, center-based, community, and school setting. Ms. Gonzalez carefully assessed and reviewed Individualized Education Plans, Adaptive Care Plans and Behavior Intervention Plans pertaining to students and individuals with learning, developmental, intellectual, physical, and psychological disabilities. All while being supervised by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst.
Ms. Gonzalez completed her bachelor’s degree in social and behavioral sciences from California State University, Sacramento in May of 2021, where she was able to connect and establish where she could meet her clients where they are at. Furthermore, understanding that social advocacy, social justice and affirmative action within the social and behavioral science field promotes a significant amount of support and change in what we as liaisons need to be aware of.
