Clinical Case and Utilization Management (CM/UM) Training Manager

Clarice Thomas Roberts is an RN with a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Executive Leadership and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Certified Addiction Professional.

She has more than 24 years of clinical and managerial experience and has 20 years of experience working as a behavioral health professional in community, residential treatment, and outpatient settings. She has spent the last 10 years in a managed care setting leading clinical (both nursing and social work) and non-clinical teams providing critical care to vulnerable populations. In her last role, she was a Senior Clinical System Specialist, where she functioned as a SME for the building of a case management platform and the integration of a utilization management platform.

Now, the Clinical Case and Utilization Management Training Manager at COPE Health Solutions, she is responsible for educating healthcare staff about delivery of quality care while utilizing efficient resources. She also plays a crucial role in educating and guiding case managers to ensure effective ethical practices.
