Meera Arumugam
Analyst
Meera Arumugam is an Analyst at COPE Health Solutions, where she supports internal and external consulting projects focused on implementing value-based care strategies and improving health care quality and delivery. She also works closely with COPE Health Scholars to provide educational support and planning efforts for international value-based payment-intensive programs held by COPE Health Solutions.
Before joining CHS, Ms. Arumugam had five years of experience in health care, encompassing patient research, strategic health systems planning, and ambulatory operations. She most recently worked as a Business and Strategic Planning intern at Mount Sinai Health System, where she developed financial reporting tools across 15 service lines, helping to shape conversations among senior leadership on network strategy. She served as an Administrative Resident at Englewood Hospital in New Jersey, where she led the development of a standardized provider offboarding process, coordinating with 10 cross-functional hospital teams to identify inefficiencies and implement workflow improvements. Additionally, Ms. Arumugam spent time in a psychiatric research lab at NYU Langone, where she supported patient recruitment, data collection and analysis, and patient engagement.
Ms. Arumugam holds a Master of Health Administration degree from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health, where she developed expertise in health care policy and management. She was a leader in the program as a Teaching Assistant for the Value-Based Payment Systems and Managerial and Organizational Behavior courses, as well as a Graduate Student Coordinator for Data Analytics and Marketing courses. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology and Global Public Health from New York University.
