Alondra Martinez

Patient Care Navigator

Alondra Martinez joined COPE Health Solutions as a Patient Care Navigator on July 2024. Ms. Martinez role at COPE Health Solutions is to bridge the gap between the community and the health care system. As part of her role Ms. Martinez helps guide patients through the healthcare system. Ms. Martinez provides support by coordinating care, helping with appointments and addressing any concerns or barriers to care. She communicates closely with care coordinators, community health workers, primary care physicians and other health providers.

Prior to joining COPE Health Solutions, Ms. Martinez served the community by working at Goodwill Industries and Succulent Gardens. In her job at Goodwill Industries Ms. Martinez was a processor. Her duties included processing donated textiles/clothing, shoes, housewares, books, electronics, toys, and decorative items for sale. Another part of the job was sorting and grading hard sort items, placing incomplete and/or broken items into containers for outlet sales, salvaging or trash. Ms. Martinez was a full-time student when she worked at Succulent Gardens. In Succulent Gardens Ms. Martinez had to sort through the cuttings of different succulents to make sure they were the best and that they were healthy. She would then go on to planting them in either 2-, 4-, or 6-inch pots.

Ms. Martinez earned her Associate of Science in Administration of Justice as well as her Associate of Art in Psychology from Hartnell College. Ms. Martinez has also earned her Bachelor of Art in Psychology degree from California State University, Monterey Bay. She also has her seal of biliteracy (English & Spanish).
