
Valerie Linares
Community Health Worker
Valerie Linares is a dedicated Community Health Worker at COPE Health Solutions, bringing a strong background in public health and community outreach. Inspired by her personal connection to women’s health issues, Mrs. Linares strives to make a lasting impact by increasing awareness and access to critical health services.
During her internship with the Every Woman Counts (EWC) program, Mrs. Linares played a key role in connecting underserved women to essential health services, such as preventive health screenings, health education classes, and educating the community on healthcare resources. She also initiated the collaboration between EWC and Pasadena City College (PCC), ensuring the ongoing participation of EWC in PCC’s annual health fair.
Mrs. Linares graduated summa cum laude from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health, where she developed a deep passion for health promotion and education. In the future, Mrs. Linares plans to further her education by returning to school to become a public health nurse, continuing her mission to promote health equity and community wellness.
