Karolina Ortiz

Enhanced Care Management

Karolina Ortiz, MS HCM, is an Enhanced Care Management (ECM) Director of Operations with COPE Health Solutions with more than 8 years’ experience in healthcare operations. She comes to the organization with a background in health system operations, clinical quality improvement, clinical program development, and creating a sustainable team culture. In her current role Mrs. Ortiz will be working with our ECM team, supporting the expansion of services and building relationships with Community Supports, organizations, IPAs, and health plans.

Prior to coming to COPE Health Solutions, Mrs. Ortiz worked as a Director of Operations at Rogers Behavioral Health, a leader in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder and anxiety disorders. She led multiple projects involving workflow development, operations and integration, workforce planning, and directed the strategic planning and implementation of a new service line.

Mrs. Ortiz received her Master of Science degree in Health Care Management from the California State University, Los Angeles. Previously, she completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science/Administrative Studies from the University of California, Riverside. Mrs. Ortiz currently serves in the TELACU Education Foundation Mentor program, where program alumni are committed to providing mentorship to current TELACU College Success Scholars (first-generation students from under-resourced communities). She is also a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the National Association of Latino Healthcare Executives.
