Wayne Ziemann

Wayne Ziemann is a performance-driven, strategic, and process-focused Healthcare Performance Improvement Executive with 30+ years of experience in devising and implementing innovative strategies to enhance business success and financial performance through commitment toward value-based care principles. He has a proven track record of consistently exceeding expectations while elevating quality metrics, reducing costs, and improving overall organization performance.
Most recently Mr. Ziemann was the Vice President of Population Health Administration at Catholic Health Physician Partners on Long Island. Under his leadership, this 250,000 member ACO went from experiencing significant losses to consistently generating $25 to $30 million of annual shared savings. Mr. Ziemann also served as the Executive Director of Catholic Health’s DSRIP program which earned over $250 million.
Prior to joining Catholic Health Services of Long Island, Mr. Ziemann held executive level positions with Kaufman Hall, Alvarez and Marsal and KPMG. In addition, Mr. Ziemann was the founder of two health care performance improvement consulting firms as well as a data analytics software company.
Mr. Ziemann received an MBA in Healthcare Administration from the City University of New York Mount Sinai School of Medicine and a BA in Biology from Franklin and Marshall College.
