Felipe Salazar, CCMA is a Program  Manager at COPE Health Solutions with more than 10 years of experience in the medical field working with historically underserved populations.

Mr. Salazar began his career as an entry-level medical assistant and has experience working in urgent care, and different specialties: Podiatry, ENT, Rheumatology, Endocrinology, Integrative Medicine, sexual health, HIV Care, and Transgender services. He went on to become a certified HIV Testing Counselor and eventually became the Assistant Program Coordinator for an MPowerment Project, a CDC Evidence-Based Intervention Program, geared towards implementing HIV Prevention strategies targeting young gay/ Bisexual men ages 18-29 .

Mr. Salazar served as the lead instructor for Concorde Career Colleges in San Diego for five years before relocating to Washington. He holds a Certified Higher Education Professional credential in teaching and online teaching. He now proudly serves as a Medical Assistant Instructor for COPE Health Solutions in the West Coast.
