John Wallace

John Wallace’s 20+years of experience in health care has focused on public programs and safety-net provider networks. Mr. Wallace began his health career at the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services, which operates the second largest public hospital and health system in the country. At the Los Angeles County, Mr. Wallace worked on the nation’s only sub-state 1115 Waiver, public-private partnership program, and other major initiatives. Mr. Wallace then spent a decade at LA Care Health Plan, the largest public health plan in the country.

While at LA Care Health, Mr. Wallace served as Chief Operating Officer and oversaw the implementation of a Medicare Advantage Duals Special Needs Plan, an individual commercial product for Covered California and the expansion of Medi-Cal under the Affordable Care Act. At Heritage Provider Network, Mr. Wallace served as Senior Vice President for Medicaid programs. For the past three years, Mr. Wallace has been the California Market President for Agilon Health, Inc. He is currently Chief Operating Officer at Duo Health.
